Marko Jaric for Mike Dunleavy Jr.

Would you do this trade? They both have 5 years remaining on there contracts. I think Marko makes a little more than Jr. and Jr. is a real SF at 6’9.

Marko; 28 Min | .399 FG% | .688ft% | 7.8 PPG | 3.1 Reb | 3.9 ast | 1.44 stl | .28 blk | 1.69 to |
Mike; 32 Min | .406 FG% | .778ft% |11.5PPG | 4.9 Reb | 2.9 ast | 0.74 stl | .40 blk | 1.48 to |

I take this deal.

I guess I would rather take a guy with an established position who has room to develope over a guy who has no position and just bombed last season. Dunleavy is not one of my favorites but I would take him over Jaric at this point.

Yeah, almost any trade that gets rid of Jaric has got to be considered a success at this point, but this one would be iffy.

I've said this before, but I'd like to see them try Jaric to the Kings, who have zero depth in the backcourt, for Kenny Thomas. Doubt they'd do it, but you never know. Sacramento's in a management transition with Bill Musselman coming in to coach, and it's never a bad idea to try and deal with teams in those situations since they're probably looking to rearrange anyhow.
