Jake Voskuhl??
Pioneer Press says we have had preliminary talks with Eddie House, Jannero Pargo, Darius Songaila, Voskuhl and Aaron Williams. This makes me excited! I think Voskuhl can help lead us back to the Western Conference Finals! Wake up McHale!!

No no you don't understand, you see when Mchale said veteran players we all assumed "good or decent" veteran players, but no Mchale is more of anybody with more then 2yrs stick them next to KG and they will be all stars. Look I know we don't have much $$ but this is were Mchales glaring lack of creativity shines.

You misread the article. We are not in discussions with the players we are in discussion with an agent who represents all those players. The article was speculating who could be of interest.
The player of interest to the Wolves was SG House.

But the question is: Are any of them of interest besides maybe Songalia?

I only like one of those players on the list and still wouldnt pay any exception money to any of them. If we were to sign any of these players it would have to be for the league minimum. The Wolves have something in the hopper IMO you dont go into an offseason planning on making some moves just to bring in some low level free agents. I have to think some trade is in the works.
Maybe its only my dream but I would rather see this team sign no one at all then anyone from this group. Why tie up more money for the cap in players who wont help this team win? This free agent class is poor maybe as bad as the draft class but unless they go get some players that can fill roles on the cheap they shouldnt waste time or money.

Great Eddie House, another put-me-in-coach-so-I-can-shoot-five-times player.

It says we're having preliminary talks regarding a few of his clients plain as day.
In other free-agent news, the Wolves have had preliminary talks with agent Mark Bartelstein regarding a few of his clients: shooting guard Eddie House and point guard Jannero Pargo, and big men Darius Songaila, Jake Voskuhl and Aaron Williams. Songaila is a restricted free agent, meaning Chicago can match any offer he receives. The others are unrestricted.
"We're staying in touch," Bartelstein said. "We'll see how it plays out."
